An epiparietal from a juvenile Triceratops prorsus fromt he Hell Creek Formation of South Dakota. These spiked bones formed the distinctive serrated margins of the frill of Triceratops. This specimen preserves great details including many paths of the blood vessels that ran near the surface of the bone while it was protected by its keratin sheath in life.
