Description: This is a very spectacular skeleton. It is the largest articulated individual Xiphactinus skeleton known, at 18 feet (5.45m) long! Has articulated vertebral column, beautifully preserved skull and pectorals, caudal fin upper lobe, pleural ribs and more. Preserved in arched-back pose. To be prepared for display as a panel (wall) mount in its death pose. These are some of the most vicious-looking fish to ever grace museum halls. 85 million years old.
