Thescelosaurus n. sp. “Bert”

The most complete Thescelosaurus skull ever discovered

Bert's bone map

Locality: Hell Creek formation of Montana

Description: This superb specimen will be described as a new species. The majority of the skeleton is present, including a near perfect skull and lower jaw. The specimen also includes the only complete, fully articulated arm and hand ever discovered for this type of dinosaur. Initial publication will be done in a college thesis, and some restrictions apply to public release of information about this specimen, with details available upon request. As you know, small dinosaurs create a disproportionate amount of viewer interest. Their appeal is universal, and despite the fact that Bert doesn’t have any big fangs, horns or claws, or possibly because of that fact in the dangerous world in which he lived, Bert will endear himself to young and old alike. Skull is one of the best ever found and bone quality is superb. Bert will stand no more than 3 feet (<1m) high and about 6-7 feet (<2m) long.
